Eco? Logical! Art and culture with awareness to nature
Manuela Sarkissyan (Bulgaria)
The conference “Eco? Logical! Art and culture with a thought for nature” was held in the last edition of ACT festival in 2020. This year, the ACT team will build on what has begun with the presentation of a MANUAL FOR SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES IN THE FIELD OF PERFORMING ARTS. This practical guide includes sharing various examples and good practices around the world and in our country, which will be presented during the seminar. Participants will have the opportunity to gain experience from some of the most established leaders at the international level in the field of eco-sustainability for the creative industries. Specific steps to be taken at both the organizational and production levels will be discussed.
The climate crisis and the increasing problems in our environment require us to think globally and act locally. Global eco-sustainability strategies include the continued participation of the culture sector. The handbook provides tools to more strongly state our participation in these global processes.
