The movie is suitable for 6+children and adults, deaf and hearing.
Subtitled in English
“To be Thumbelina” is a theatrical movie – a fairy tale combining sign language and puppet theater focusing on the topic of “the different one” and the adventure of searching for “your place under the sun”. The creative team brings together deaf and hearing actors and puppeteers.
A story-teller inhabited by his seven Selves anxiously awaits the Wind of inspiration. When the Wind finally hits, it brings nothing more than an ordinary seed. In an avalanche of doubts, accusations and tumultuous internal conflict, the fragile peace of the Creator is about to fall apart and to put an end of what has not yet been born. But here, in the warm palms, the seed already sprouts and from it a very unusual fairy tale emerges … The fairy tale of Thumbelina.
