Synopsis:
“Ideas are substitutes for sorrows; when the latter change into ideas they lose part of their noxious action on our hearts.” Marcel Proust
“I would have told you what I had researched, if I had not read Marcel Proust and I had not been obsessed with the music of Richard Wagner and Leonard Cohen. I would have told you what I researched if I had known. But because all my assumptions could be challenged, I would not strain you by explaining whether “the subject returns from a long road through the narrow frame of a half-open door, infinitely distant, in a wholly different, velvety color with the radiance of some light interference, or they arise, they dance, but belong to another world.” I would have liked to talk about love if I had known love and could describe it. I would like to know more about death which often harasses us because of its uncertainty to occur as per our perfect version. I will not be able to tell you what sorrow is for me since I have abandoned it to such extent that it does not appear before my eyes and I do not allow it to return for long. I could also say what art is for me although it is not modest to express my judgment about any work of art.”
